About Student Visa
A student who is enrolled in the International Student Course for a long period of time needs a College Student Visa.
After entering Japan for 1 year or 1 year and 3 months, the visa must be renewed. The longest time for stay will be 2 years. To renew the visa, a student must reach over 80% of the attendance rate.
By applying for the permission to engage in activities other than that permitted under the status of residence, one may engage in part-time jobs up to 28 hours a week.
